isPermaLink="false">http://www.clickequations.com/blog/?p=612#comment-202

It's long been a problem getting smaller companies to realise that there is more to Adwords that simply getting your ads clicked on and that it is at the other end that it matters more ie the conversion.

Too many smaller Adwords advertisers don't want to engage with, see the benefit or pay for a properly managed campaign. Doing Adwords is enough!

The concept of Quality Score should help break down some of these barriers. The idea that 'bid/click' cost is inversely proportional to QS is an important point to stress.

Watched a replay of the webinar (live times are not always practical in UK) and found it both enlightening and informative.

What was of most interest was that QS is not a single calculation but an aggregation of the QS scores of the various elements from keyword, ad content and landing page. The metaphor of 'following the scent' brings it home quite graphically.

Not really much new stuff for me but always good to know that others think the same. :)

> TIP FROM PARTICIPANT: Quality Score is in the Keyword/Placement Report in
> Google.
> I had said it was only under the pop-up in the management window.

Yes, that's correct. So you can pull a new keyword report for the last x months with the new column included and check if certain tactics led to an improvement of QS (or a lower first page bid). Very nice:
http://twitter.com/bfri/status/1016221767

Hi Craig -

thank you for the great webinar.
