I did hear from others that the sessions weren't up to the level of the attendees. Panels are a weak format, and it always seems the moderators/hosts don't put enough time into forcing the presenters to have great material. I went to SMX hoping to learn more things for my clients and besides the White Hat session I didn't hear anything new. The networking was good, but I should have just bought a networking pass and saved the money. I wanted to leave almost every session I went to, but thought it was rude, so I just got on the net and worked. I don't want to say who I am, but I have to say I am kind of disappointed.
