CQ, as we affectionately call our company, is not for everyone. We are on a mission: to create the future of search marketing.
Because search is just too complex for humans to fathom. Google has legions of Ph.D.s and acres of servers running the software those Ph.D.s write. Yet the typical paid search campaign is run in 5 screens with 7 different interfaces and legions of spreadsheets. There has to be a better way.
So we raised venture capital and built a search optimizer. Not a tool, like Atlas or SearchCenter, but a true optimizer. A pivotal departure from everything (yes, including Efficient Frontier) that has come before it. We have something going on.
And we act like people who have something going on. Even though we’re nice, we have a bit of an attitude: we’re confident that we’re right and today’s way is wrong. We try hard to always do the right thing, because what’s the point without integrity? We work hard, because changing the world is hard. It’s also fun. No one really cares when or where we work, as long as our work is outstanding. We wear shorts or whatever else to work. We drink beer at our company meetings on Thursday afternoons. When the weather is nice we pretend we’re in Silicon Valley and drink outside. We even have a Fortune 100 client who skateboards with our CEO in the parking lot.
At the end of the day, though, it’s all about doing great work. If you’re not about great work, Acquisio isn’t for you. And if you don’t believe that you can change the world, Acquisio isn’t for you. If you can’t play nicely with others, we don’t want to play with you. But if you want to change the world, think you’re good enough to do it, and are more interested in the championship than the MVP award, please email a resume and cover letter with the job title in the subject line to email@example.com. We always have room for rock stars.
